Our first step is to conduct stringent data security on any data bearing media either by destroying the media completely or wiping to any one of three levels, up to the Ministry of Defence standard, as required by the client. We then refurbish and test individual computers and components in our purpose built test facility, for resale into global markets. Items suitable for refurbishment and resale include complete computer units, together with memory, monitors, hard drives, printers and components, backup devices and networking equipment, both rack mount and desk top. Unusable equipment is segregated into metals, plastics, cable, circuit boards and connectors and recycled. Comprehensive monthly reports on waste stream are available. |
IT, Telecommunications and other electronic equipment is collected and received at our premises and registered to our database, prior to assessing all electronic components and assets. At this point we decide what can be reused, refurbished or streamed for waste recycling.
